I attended the groundbreaking for the Regional Skilled Trades Solution Center at WPCC today. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other trades will be taught. This falls in line with my vision of Live, Work, Play and STAY in Burke County. The center will provide skills needed to earn more than a living wage, produce more workers that will be available to build more housing. Graduates can start their own business to pass down to their children – and STAY in Burke County generation after generation.
